Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Summary:

OLY Technologies is seeking a talented and driven Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions that support our diverse business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-quality applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our software meets the evolving needs of the company and its clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Software Development: Design, code, test, and deploy scalable software applications that meet business requirements.
  2. Collaborative Development: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
  3. Code Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  4. System Integration: Develop APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance system functionality.
  5. Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  6. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of software architecture, code, and user guides.
  7. Security & Compliance: Implement secure coding practices to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies to incorporate into the development process.


Required Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in software development, with proficiency in full-stack development.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#. Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Django is a plus.
  4. Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  5. Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  6. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  7. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
