Get help and report a problem
When something does not work or you are not sure how to do a task, help is close. Start with these docs, then contact OLY support. A clear ticket gets a faster answer.
Where to get help
- These docs: oly.et/olyerpdocs. Use the search to find a page.
- Training: oly.et/lms. Short courses for every user and for system admins.
- Support portal: oly.et/issues. Open a ticket here. This is the best way to report a problem, because you can follow its status.
- Email and Telegram: you can also reach OLY support by email or Telegram. Use the contact details you received at onboarding.
- Your system admin: for passwords, new users and access to workspaces, ask the admin in your own company first.
Steps
Report a problem
- Try once more and write down exactly what you did, step by step.
- Note the document number, for example
SINV-2026-00012, and the document type. - Take a screenshot of the whole screen, including any error message.
- Copy the error text. Many error messages can be selected and copied. If you see a link to show more details, open it and copy that too.
- Go to oly.et/issues and log in.
- Create a new ticket. Write a short subject, for example "Cannot submit Sales Invoice SINV-2026-00012".
- In the description, write what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. Attach the screenshot.
- Submit the ticket and keep the ticket number. You will get updates by email.
A good ticket example
Subject: Cannot submit Sales Invoice SINV-2026-00012
What I did: Opened the draft Sales Invoice for Bole Supermarket, 80 cartons, and clicked Submit. What happened: Error "Insufficient stock for Item Potato Chips 50g in Warehouse Finished Goods". Expected: The invoice submits. The stock count yesterday showed 300 cartons in Finished Goods. Screenshot attached. User: hana@examplefoods.com.
Your security
- OLY staff never ask for your password. Not by phone, email, Telegram or in a ticket. If someone asks, do not give it, and report it.
- Never put a password in a ticket or a message.
- OLY staff access your system only to work on an open ticket. This access is logged.
Good to know
- One problem per ticket. Two problems in one ticket slow both down.
- If the problem stops your work (for example nobody can log in or you cannot invoice), say so clearly in the subject.
- Reply in the same ticket when support asks a question. Do not open a new one.
- Questions about how to do a task are welcome too, not only errors.
