Manufacturing reports
OLY ERP has ready-made reports for production. Use them to plan runs, find delays and spot waste. Open any report from the search bar by typing its name, or from the Reports area of the Manufacturing workspace.
Before you start
- Reports only show what was recorded. Submit work orders and stock entries on the day they happen.
- You need a production or stock role to open these reports.
The reports
Production Analytics: how many work orders, and their status
Shows work orders per week, month or quarter, grouped by status (for example not started, overdue, pending, completed).
- Open Production Analytics.
- Set From Date, To Date and Range (for example Monthly).
- Look for a growing number of overdue work orders.
Work Order Summary: progress of each work order
Lists work orders with item, quantity to make, quantity made and status.
- Open Work Order Summary.
- Filter by date, Status or Production Item.
- Use it in the weekly production meeting to see what is late.
BOM Stock Report: can we make this run?
Shows, for one BOM, how much of each material is needed and how much is in stock.
- Open BOM Stock Report.
- Choose the BOM, the Warehouse (for example "Raw Materials - EF") and the Quantity to Produce.
- Rows that are short tell Dawit what to buy before the run.
BOM cost and recipe reports
- Open a submitted BOM to see its Costing section (raw material cost, scrap and total cost). Click Update Cost after price changes.
- BOM Explorer shows every material in a BOM, including materials of sub-recipes.
- BOM Variance Report compares, per work order, the Required Qty from the recipe with the Consumed Qty. Big differences mean waste, wrong recipes or wrong entries.
Stock Projected Qty: what stock will we have?
Shows for each item and warehouse the actual quantity plus what is ordered, planned and reserved, as a Projected Qty.
- Open Stock Projected Qty.
- Filter by Warehouse or Item Group, for example "Raw Material".
- A negative projected quantity means open work orders or sales orders need more than you have or have ordered.
Good to know
- Open work orders that will never be finished make every report wrong. Close them with Status > Close.
- All reports can be filtered, printed and exported to Excel from the report menu.
- For stock per batch and expiry, use Batch-wise Balance History from the Stock reports.
- Your consultant can add a report to your workspace if you use it every day.
